I had my final appointment last week and was discharged from hospital care following a diagnosis of breast cancer six years ago. I have had fantastic care from Miss Kirkpatrick and all the staff at the Luton and Dunstable hospital. Everyone has been approachable, kind and caring and I feel totally reassured and confident that I have received the best possible treatment.

Following a routine mammogram I was referred to the Land D for further screening and a small cancerous tumour in my left breast was diagnosed on 2nd Dec. I had an appointment with Miss Kirkpatrick on 6th Dec. She was friendly and caring and explained very clearly the ensuing treatment I would need and booked me in for surgery just after Christmas. I had a follow up consultation with Miss Kirkpatrick last week when she gave me results. She has an excellent manner when speaking with her patients and I feel very reassured by how she explained everything. I think I was fortunate to be treated by Miss Kirkpatrick.

I saw my Surgeon Miss Kirkpatrick prior to my surgery, she was excellent at explaining everything to me. She was courteous and attentive. The operation went very well, and I had no issues. The procedure could not have gone better and I am so pleased.
